Glam Mermaid Halloween Tutorial

Here is a quick Glam Mermaid Halloween look I created. I wanted to focus on iridescent tones, shimmering scales, and a wash of oceanic blues and teals. It’s perfect if you want to look ethereal rather than scary!

The Look

To achieve this glowy, underwater aesthetic, I leaned into highlighters with blue and violet shifts. For the scales, I used fishnet stockings as a stencil over my cheekbones and temples, layering a mix of liquid glitter and pigment directly over the top.
