ColourPop Terracotta Edit for Fall 2016: Zingara Set, Muse and Swerve
For fall, Colourpop has launched three colour stories, one of which is the Terracotta series. The shade terracotta reminds me of pumpkin spice which is so popular around this time of year and I love it! I picked up the Super Shock Shadow set in Zingara and a couple other things. I will be sharing some swatches as well as a tutorial using everything from my haul. ColourPop was offering a great shipping deal for international customers so I had to take advantage.
Zingara Super Shock Eyeshadow Set:
From burnt orange to burgundy these shades just scream autumn glam. The set retails for $18, which saves you $2 as oppose to getting them individually. Like other ColourPop shadows, the formula is so creamy and pigmented with intense colour payoff. Each colour in this set goes perfectly together and I can see myself creating many different looks with them.
Seeker: A warm reddish brown in a Matte finish
Paradox: A cool-toned burgundy red in a Satin finish
Elixir: A mid-tone true terracotta in a Matte finish
Jinxie: A soft gold in a Pearlized finish
I also picked up the shadow in Muse from the Fall Edit Collection. It’s described as a coppery rose shade with a pearlized finish. It’s stunning! I used it as my liner in the tutorial below. See last swatch in the above pic.
Lastly, I purchased one of their creme gel liners in Swerve which is not from this collection. It applies smoothly and stays put but it’s not the blackest black I’ve tried.
The swatches appear different on my arm than on my eyes so I recommend watching the video to get a true likeness of the colours.
Here is a video of a look I created:
