Huda Beauty Liquid Matte Lipstick: Bombshell - Review, Swatches & Photos
On July 29th, 2016 beauty mogul Huda Kattan extended her already successful makeup line, Huda Beauty, and launched her liquid matte lipsticks. The date of the release also happened to be National Lipstick Day, how perfect. All 16 shades were released in the Middle East and 5 shades were released on Sephora.com. These shades were developed to match her lip contour pencils. I picked up the lipstick Bombshell to test out the formula.
The liquid lipstick comes in a slide out box and I just love the artwork on it. A voluminous set a lips appear to be biting the lipstick. The package is wrapped with a plastic film to protect the outside. The lipstick tube is looks very chic with its matte finish.
I personally don't like liquid lipsticks because it's hard to find a formula which is not drying. The formula on the Huda Beauty Liquid Matte's is very impressive. The consistency is almost wet and runny which allows you more time to work with it and outline your lips. It takes a minute to dry to a matte finish and is very light weight. As the consistency is very thin, I need to apply two coats to cover the pigmentation in my lips. The lipstick contains antioxidants and an exclusive complex to maintain hydration. I prefer to put a little gloss in the center of my lips for extra moisture. Bombshell is a gorgeous pinkish nude shade that does not transfer. I was able to eat and have light snacks without having to re-apply. It also smells yummy, like vanilla.

Overall this is one of my favourite liquid lipstick formula's that I have tried so far but keep in mind I have never tried some of the most liked formulas like Jeffree Star or Ofra lipsticks. I would like to pick up another shade when the full line re-launches.
