Sneak Peek: 2018 Wet n Wild Product Launches - MegaGlo Halo Highlighters, Cushion Highlighter/Contour, Glitter Singles and More

I had the opportunity to preview the new 2018 Wet n Wild line up at their media event. I must say it is a stellar collection and some pieces will have you dying to get your hands on. Not only is Wet n Wild an affordable drugstore brand but they have quality products. Their MegaGlo Highlighters are one of my favourites and I'm so excited to see them create new shades as well as liquid highlighters. The line also includes a cushion contour and highlighter which I've never seen before. Those are just a couple of items that will be launching so I'll just drop right in and tell you more about what you should keep your eyes peeled for.

Mega Glo Hello Halo Liquid Highlighters - $7.99

Hands down, these are my favourite product from the entire launch. The innovative collection of liquid highlighters are formulated with micro-fine pearl pigments to create a multicolour effect. They are infused with grapeseed oil to give skin a silky feel, and murumuru seed butter and Vitamin E to moisturize skin. There are seven different colour options ranging from a unicorn holographic shade to pink and gold shades. They can be worn alone, under or over powder highlights and all over the body. You can even add it to your favourite liquid foundation or skincare product for an all-over glow. I've been wearing them every day since I received them. Halographic is my favourite, it gives a beautiful iridescent purple glow. The doe applicator allows for easy application. I usually apply it directly to the skin and blend with my fingers or a dual fibre brush.

Mega Cushion Contour, Highlight and Color Correctors - $7.99

There are three colour corrector shades - Green, Peach and Lavender and a bronzer and highlighter shade. The formula is lightweight and blendable. They contain vitamin E and vitamin B5 to help provide moisture. The colour correctors can be used to treat problem areas such as redness, dark circles, and lavender to neutralize yellowness. The bronzer is the perfect shade for my skin tone. It has a soft velvety feel and blends out so easily. The highlighter shade, on the other hand, is too light on me.

MegaGlo Highlighting Powder - $6.99

There are four new shades added to the MegaGlo line. I already own the two previous shades and I love them. The powders have an ultra pearly finish in an easy to blend formula. The highlighters are highly pigmented and feel silky smooth. I have two of the new shades and they are swatched below.

Color Icon Eyeshadow Quads/10-Pan Palettes - $3.99 and $6.99

The Eyeshadow quads feature four shades to create a simple eye look in just 1-2-3-4! There are six available colour options and each palette comes with a mixture of shimmer and matte finishes and a coordinating transition matte shade. I found the shadows in this palette on the drier side. The Eyeshadow 10-Pan Palettes are available in four different coordinating palettes that come with a mixture of shimmer and matte finishes. Each palette features a light transition shade for natural looks and a dark transition shade for dramatic looks. The new formula is pigmented and has a satin texture. I highly recommend the Comfort Zone palette; the shades are very pretty.

Color Icon Glitter Singles - $1.99

The Glitter Singles come in a wide range of colours in a new cream formula. It almost has a lipgloss feel but it isn't sticky. It is lightweight and buildable. They are infused with Vitamin E to moisturize skin and aid in applying smoothly.

Also included in the 2018 launch is a new brow pencil, the Ultimate Brow Retractable Brow Pencil and a Photo Focus Matte Finish Setting Spray and Natural Finish Setting Spray. The brow pencil has a similar tip to Anastasia's Brow Definer but it is less pigmented. I've been using it for an everyday brow. There is also six new shades of their Perfect Pout Gel Lip Liner.

The collection will be available online at wetnwildbeauty.com in December 2017 but I've seen some of the above-mentioned products already for sale and I put links to them. The collection will be hitting stores in February 2018 (I know, such a long time). Not only does the brand offer quality products at affordable rates but the offer cruelty-free, gluten-free, fragrance-free, paraben-free and vegan shades.
