Wet n Wild 2017 Product Launch
Hi Beauties!
Wet n Wild Los Angeles had an outstanding media event last week in Toronto. It was a makeup lover's haven, with a myriad of makeup displays, a touch-up station and a fun claw crane game. The food courses were themed to correspond with their new vegan products. There are a lot of great products in their 2017 launch. Many of which are sold in stores right now. I was super excited to see the MegaGlo Highlighters on display, as I have never seen them in Canadian stores to this date. Today I will be sharing the new line up and swatches of some of the products I received in my goodie bag.
Photo Focus Collection
The Photo Focus Collection features no-flashback technology which will guarantee the perfect photo every time. It was tested in seven different lighting conditions - Clear blue sunlit sky, Outdoors PM, Indoors PM, Electronic flash, Fluorescent, Bathroom light and Nightclub light. It has passed the 700 selfie test as it eliminates the white particle reflection that causes flashblack. Included in this line is the Photo Focus Foundation, Concealer and Face Powder.
Foundation ($7.99) - A light weight, oil free formula that features silicone to blur imperfections. It's available in 20 different shades to suit all skin tones. I tried this foundation in a previously tutorial and I really liked it (watch here).
Concealer ($5.99) - The concealer brightens and conceals blemishes and dark circles. It contains Chamomilla Extract to reduce the appearance of dry skin as well as Vitamin E to improve and moisturize textured skin. The concealer is available in 6 shades.
Pressed Powder ($5.99) - This powder leaves a soft satin finish to the skin and reduces shine throughout the day. It's oil free and light weight and covers many skin tones in 8 different shades.

Take on the Day Mattifying Powder ($5.99) - The powder was created to absorb and minimize oil. It is translucent in colour and leaves a luminous soft finish and can be used to set your makeup.
Mega Last Liquid Catsuit Matte Lipsticks ($6.99)
Their new liquid lipstick is meant to hug every contour of your lips like a catsuit. It's available in 13 beautiful shades pictured below. The formula is very light weight and pigmented. I like the curve in the applicator as it allows for a precise application. The lipsticks contain macadamia extracts and Vitamin E to provide moisture to the lips.

Perfect Pout Gel Lip Balm and Gel Lip Liner ($3.99)
This is Wet n Wild's first gel lip balms and liners that contain a gel complex that provides a sheer, glossy finish. The balms contain Vitamin E, Avocado oil, and Macadamia derivative to improve moisture and texture. I have already added these to my makeup bag. I like the tint of colour they add to the lips and they are very moisturizing. They are available in 7 different shades ranging from clear, pinks, oranges and purples. The lip liners were also designed to give a sheer glossy finish without tugging or pulling on the lips. They come in 6 different colour choices. Two of each balm and liner are swatched below.

MegaGlo Highlighting Powder ($6.99)
I knew I needed this highlighter since pictures surfaced on social media a while back. The powders contain shimmering pearl pigments meant to enhance your complexion with a luminous glow. There are two shade options - Crown of my Canopy and Precious Pearls. I like to layer the two for a more dramatic effect.

Color Icon Ombré Blush ($6.99)
The Princess Daiquiries
Three great shades combined into one gradient ombre blush for buildable colour. It is available in 2 shades, The Princess Daiquiries and In a Purple Haze.
MegaGlo Makeup Sticks ($5.99)
Wet n Wild has created 10 new multi-use sticks that are meant to conceal, contour, blush and strobe. The velvety cream formula is blendable and contains Vitamin E, macadamia derivative and coconut oil to approve texture and moisture to the skin. There are three concealer, contour and blush shades and one universal highlight stick.
MegaGlo Duo-Ended Contour Stick ($7.99)
This is the perfect tool when you're on the go to highlight and contour areas of the face with precise application. There are available in two colour options.
Au Natural Eyeshadow Palette ($7.99)
This palette contains 10 eyeshadows ranging from matte, shimmering glitter and highlight finishes. The palette is available in two colour options in an array of neutral or rose-hued shades. The neutral palette is called Bare Necessities and the other which is pictured above is the Nude Awakening palette.
Lash Renegrade Mascara ($7.99)
The Lash Renegade adds dimension to every lash with its multi layered brush. The wand has a spherical tip that tapers down the ends.
Ultimate Brow Kit ($5.99)
This is such a cute set; it comes with everything you need to shape and maintain your brows. The set includes a wax, two setting powders, an angled brush and a mini tweezers.
Wet n Wild has also introduced three new shades to their WonderGel Nail Colour line as well a Saving Base Fortifying Base Coat and Hard As Ice Top Coat. The final item in the collection is the Makeup Remover Micellar Cleansing Water; a gentle all purpose makeup remover.
There are so many great products in this launch and they are all so affordable. So far I'm liking the foundation, lip balms and the highlighters, of course.
