April 2017 Beauty Favourites

Hi Beauties!

It has been way too long since I posted my monthly favourites on my blog so I decided to do a round up of some products I've been loving for the past few months.  You may have heard me talk about some of these products here or on my other social media handles (that is if you follow me) but all have been used heavily in my rotation as of late.  Keep reading to see what some of my faves are, not in any particular order.

Tarte Color Splash Hydrating Lipsticks (reviewed here)

I can't rave enough about these lipsticks.  I love everything from the packaging, formula to the colour range.  These lipsticks are so creamy and hydrating and they wear very comfortably.  There are many nude shades which I love but there is also some mauves and berries in this line.  Amongst my favourites are Salt Lyfe, Beach Babe and Rum Punch.  You can see swatches of the entire collection by clicking on the link above.

Wet n Wild Megaglo Highlighting Powders (reviewed here)

I've been using the shades Precious Pearls and Crown of my Canopy almost daily.  It gives a stunning glow instantly with little building required which is perfect when I'm in a rush in the mornings.  These are probably the best drugstore highlighters that I've tried and they are so affordable.

Sephora Favorites Give Me Some Nude Lip set (reviewed here)

I'm really loving the nude options in this set especially the glosses.  All shades are wearable and I enjoy the formula on each lipstick in this set.  Amongst my favourites are the Marc Jacob Sugar Sugar, ABH Kristen and Too Faced Spice Girl.  With Mother's Day right around the corner, I think this set is a great gift giving option.

Pixi Multi-Misting Sprays

I'm obsessed with using setting sprays.  Before I was introduced to the Pixi one's I was using Mac's recharged water spray to set my makeup and refresh my face.  The first Pixi mist that I started using was the Glow Tonic.  It adds a nice glow and contains natural oils, aloe vera and fruit extracts.  I was later sent the Vitamin Wakeup Mist, Hydrating Milky Mist and the Makeup Fixing Mist.  I've been using the Vitamin toner spray which is new every morning.  It helps revitalize my skin for the day ahead and it has a nice citrus smell as it contains orange blossom water.   The Milky mist provides hydration and contains hyaluronic acid to plump skin.  I use this one at night for an extra layer of moisture but can be used in the a.m. as well.  The Makeup Fixing Mist has rose water and green tea to balance skin and is used to prolong and set makeup.

Stila Cosmetics Magnificent Metals Glitter & Glow Liquid Eye Shadows (reviewed here)

These shadows are amazing!  They give the look of glitter without making a mess which tends to happen with loose pigments and glitter.  The liquid formula glides on so smoothly and they are really pigmented.  These shadows instantly jazz up any eye look and is perfect for beginners that are not to familiar with working with glitter.

Conair Reflections Lighted Collection Mirror

Due to limited space in my condo there is no room for a vanity, so I have to get ready in bathroom which is poorly lit.  This mirror has been a great solution for this problem.  It is a double sided mirror that rotates 360 degrees.  The mirror offers 2 magnification settings (1x and 7x) and bright LED lighting that is energy saving.  There is a high and low setting for the lightening.  See more information on Conaircanada.ca.
