ABH x Amrezy Highlighter - Review, Photos and Swatches

Anastasia Beverly Hills has collaborated once again with Instagram beauty sensation, Amrezy - Amra Olević. This time around they have created a luxurious limited edition highlighter. Applying highlighter is my favourite part of my makeup routine and I have quite an extensive collection. So, of course, I had to get it and plus I'm a fan of Amrezy. She is always glowing for the gods so I wouldn't expect anything less from this product. The Amrezy Highlighter retails for $36 CAD and $28 USD at Sephora, Ulta and Anastasiabeverlyhills.com.

The highlighter comes in a luxe black compact with rose gold accents and includes a mirror on the inside. The highlighter is packed in a wave like pattern that just glistens in the light. It is a champagne gold shade that can be used on the face, eyes and body. To my surprise, my first impression of the Amrezy highlighter wasn't as blinding as I thought it would be. Don't get me wrong, as soon as the sun hit my face the glow was definitely in my face! It goes on very subtle but can be built to a beautiful luminous glow. Amrezy wanted to create a highlighter that had a second skin finish and she did just that. The formula is very unique; it's a powder but has a soft velvety feel to it. It goes on so smoothly and just melts in the skin once it's set with fix plus. It does not emphasize pores or imperfections. It certainly gives a glow from within look leaving a radiant finish. It can be applied wet or dry; I do both with a dense brush. I do wish it was a little more on the gold side to work better on my tan complexion.
