Fenty Holiday Collection: Bomb Baby 2 Mini Lip Gloss and Highlighter Set & Mini Body Lava - Who Needs Clothes?!

I’m starting off my holiday series with some Fenty Beauty! Who doesn’t love Fenty Beauty or holiday sets?! I picked up a couple of items from their holiday collection. I purchased the Bomb Baby 2 Mini Lip Gloss and Highlighter Set & Mini Body Lava Body Luminizer. I’m all about that glow life so these were obvious must-haves.

Bomb Baby 2 Mini Lip Gloss and Highlighter Set - $31 CAD

This limited-edition set includes one of Fenty’s coveted luminizers, Killwatt Foil Highlighter. It comes in a fan-favorite shade Sand Castle which is part of the Sand Castle/Mint’d Mojito duo. There is also a Gloss Bomb in a new shade $weet Mouth. Both are Fenty’s most wanted items in mini-sized. Perfect for on-the-go and travel-friendly. The Killawatt Foil has an extra-fine cream to powder formula with a reflective, foil-like finish. Sand Castle is a metallic taupe shade. In the pan, it looks a little light and I didn’t think it would work on my skin tone. However, it looks very pretty even though it is more cool-toned on me like a muted silver. The texture is soft and it blends beautifully. $weet Mouth Gloss Bomb is a shimmering soft pink shade. Due to the pigmentation on my lips, the colour is very faint and sheer. It looks lovely over a nude or pink lipstick. The formula is smooth with a plus consistency that applies easily. It’s hydrating, comfortable to wear and non-sticky.

Mini Body Lava Body Luminizer - $33 CAD

I’m so glad that the brand has released a limited edition mini version of the cult-favourite body luminizer. For this price point, I thought why not test it out plus a little goes a long way with body shimmers so this size is perfect. Who Needs Clothes?! is a radiant rose gold shade. It has a gel-based formula that has a high shine finish and leaves the skin feeling dewy. I actually like the dewy finish because I usually add oil to the body shimmers I have for more shine. The glitter is subtle and not chunky which I find is the case with most dry body oils. There is a slight tackiness to the touch and not dewy as advertised. If you want something that dries down fully and doesn’t transfer, this might not be for you. I even wore it on my cheeks; it makes a great base for my powder highlighters. I like the pump applicator on this bottle as it prevents spillage. This mini size makes it perfect for travel. I hope Fenty releases more minis’ in the other Body Lava shades.
