Charlotte Tilbury’s highly anticipated Hot Lips 2 Collection needs no introduction. The first Hot Lips collection paid homage to influential stars like Kim Kardashian-West and this time around the collection was inspired by icons Charlotte feels are “rule breakers, record makers and history shakers”. The full line-up includes Edward Enninful, J.K. Rowling, Susan Sarandon, Kylie Minogue, Amal Clooney, Alessandra Ambrosio, Jennifer Aniston, Carina Lau, Sofia Vergara, Olivia Palermo, and Charlotte’s mother, Patsy Tilbury. There are 11 universally flattering shades ranging from blush pink to a crimson red. Charlotte has joined the #LIPSTICKCONFIDENCE movement with a $1.2 million pledge to Women FOR WOMEN INTERNATIONAL between 2019-2021. The packaging on the Hot Lips 2 collection is absolutely stunning. There are five collectible, refillable cases that were inspired by Charlotte’s “universe of fashion, Hollywood, Rock ‘n’ Roll and magic - The Timeless Leopard (red and gold), The Magic Panther, The Magic Infinity Starburst and The Power of The Universe. You can mix and match the design and Hot Lips 2 refill shade of your choice at Charlotte’s standalone stores. The lipsticks in this line were created with Charlotte’s iconic K.I.S.S.I.N.G and Matte Revolution formula. There are five new KISSING and five new Matte Revolution shades, along with a lip balm. The formula is very moisturizing and hydrating on the lips. It contains lipstick tree and orchid extracts to soothe, soften, and protect the lips. The Hot Lips 2 lipsticks are advertised as universally flattering and to my surprise every shade that I tried worked perfectly on my skin tone. Even Dancefloor Princess which I thought might have been too light on me. I’m in love with these lipsticks from the packaging to the shades to the formula. I highly recommend picking them up. Now I just need to get my hands on The Magic Panther casing.
