BASEIN Magnetic Eyelashes Kit - Review

If you know me, you know I love to wear falsies. I’ve never tried magnetic lashes before and to be honest, I’ve been quite hesitant due to the heavy metals. That is until recently when I discovered the BASEIN Magnetic lashes. There is no glue required to apply these lashes. All you have to do is apply the liner that is included in the kit and adhere the lashes to the liner. It’s that simple. The liner contains iron oxide and no metals or parabens. The kit contains five different styles to accommodate different eye shapes and includes 10 pairs. It also comes with two eyeliners, a lash applicator and a makeup remover. The styles range from simple everyday lashes to more dramatic lashes for full glam. They are tapered and fluffy; perfect for almond-shaped, hooded and deep-set eyes. There are five tiny magnets across the lash band. The magnets are lightweight and don’t show when worn on the eyes. The eyeliner has a slim tip making it easy to apply a precise line. Once you apply the liner to your liking, wait for it to dry for a minute before applying the lashes. Otherwise, it won’t adhere well. I suggest applying a thicker line so the lash band blends in well with the liner. It isn’t regular lash glue so the liner will dry as is. You can make adjustments with a regular ink liner if needed after the lashes are in place. The magnets are spaced out perfectly if you need to customize the lashes to adjust to your eye shape. You can use the applicator it came with or tweezers to apply the lashes. Once the liner dries it feels very secure and the lashes will stay in place all day.

I didn’t have any issues removing the eyeliner. I used a makeup remover on a cotton pad to gently remove the lashes and liner. I also used the magnetic remover that comes in the kit to remove any liner residue. This remover is infused with hyaluronic acid and olive oil for a boost of hydration. It is a no-rinse makeup remover that gently removes waterproof and long-wear makeup without stripping the skin of natural moisture. Furthermore, it can remove build-up on the magnetic lashes and extend their wear. The lashes can be reused up to 100 times with proper care and storage.

These lashes are perfect for those that struggle with applying false lashes. The magnets and liner make it so easy to use and apply. I love how you can build up the drama with these to take you from day to night. I will be using these in my future makeup looks.
