The Garden Variety Collection from Colourpop was inspired by succulents and fresh garden blooms. The colour story of this collection was calling my name. I love everything about this collection from the beautiful floral packaging to the mint coloured compacts to the tones of the shadow palette and blushes. You can even match your hair with the makeup with the velour scrunchies included in the line. The shade names are so on point with the theme of the collection. Eyeshadow Palette - $20 USD
This succulent inspired palette features 15 eyeshadows with the perfect mix of rich earth tones and pops of colour. The cardboard box and packaging of the palette have a raised imprint of the name and flowers which makes it feel more than it cost. The colour story is very cohesive ranging in matte, metallic and super shock shadow finishes. The shade range features neutrals, oranges/corals, pinks, golds, purples, greens and browns. The shades are versatile to create many different looks both soft and natural or bold and colourful. They are pigmented and blend nicely with a brush or with your fingers.

Jelly Much Shadow - $8 USD
These Jelly shadows are one of Colourpop’s most innovative formulas. They have a water-based formula that saturates the pigment with a single swipe for an intense payoff. It feels jelly but dries down to a powder finish. The brand says “no need to fuss with wetting your makeup brush or using a primer, you’ll get the look of intense shadow right from the pot.” There are four Jelly Much Shadows in this collection.

There are four blushes in the Garden Variety Collection ranging from peach, pink and purple shades. All beautiful tones to brighten your complexion. They have a medium, buildable coverage with a satin finish. The blushes are packed in a pretty mint colour compact with a succulent design on the outside. The powders are also stamped with a succulent embossment. Night Bloom is my favourite, I’m a sucker for purple toned blushes and this one did not disappoint. The blushes are sold separately and in a set with the curated matching lip oil.

Lux Lip Oil - $8 USD
There are four lip oils introduced in this collection. They are described as a sheer kiss of colour lip oil packed with antioxidant-rich chamomile & calendula oils. They don’t have much pigment; they’re mostly clear with a very faint colour and a hint of shimmer. I don’t mind as I usually wear lip oils around the house and these provide enough moisture that I need. They’re comfortable to wear and aren’t sticky. If you’re looking for a lip product that offers shine and a touch of pearl, these would be great.
