Dior BACKSTAGE Glow Face Palette: Copper Gold

The iconic multi-use face makeup palette, The Dior Backstage Glow Face Palette is the Dior makeup artists' secret for adding instant radiance. Copper Gold is one of the three new shades that were released last year for the Holiday Collection. I originally purchased the shade Pure Gold (reviewed here) thinking that Copper Gold was too dark for my complexion. Boy, was I wrong! Copper Gold features gold and copper tones that can be worn as a blush topper, highlighter, or even a shimmery bronzer depending on your skin tone. . The limited-edition palettes retail for $55 CAD and $45 USD at Sephora.

The packaging is compact and lightweight. It comes in a clear acrylic compact so you can admire the beautiful embossment from the outside. Each highlighter is emprinted with the Dior logo motif. The powders are ultrafine and contain pearlescent pigments. I like to blend the shades together for a customized glow. You can achieve a natural radiant glow or build it up to an intense glow. The texture feels like a gel-powder that is smooth and firm. The Coral shade is a warm-toned light peach with a gold and pink glittery finish. Shade Copper is a warm-toned light copper with a metallic finish with copper and gold sparkle. Bronze is a warm dark brown that has an intense pigmentation with gold and copper flecks. Lastly, Golden Bronze is a medium copper with an intense finish and pearly sheen.
