Fenty Beauty Cheeks Out Freestyle Cream Blush - Drama Cla$$ & Fuego Flush

The wait is over Fenty Beauty fans! The Cheeks Out Collection is now available. The collection features 10 sheer cream blushes. The formula is meant to melt into the skin for a wash of colour for a natural look. The shades were created by Rihanna to give life to all skin tones ranging from coral to orange and pink to purple shades. It comes in a lightweight, non-greasy, sweat and water-resistant formula that melts into the skin. The blushes retail for $26 CAD and $20 USD at Sephora and Fentybeauty.com.

The Cheeks Out Freestyle Cream Blush comes with 0.1 oz of product. At first glance, the pan size looked small but I probably wouldn’t hit pan before the product starts to go bad. For the price, it’s a pretty decent size. They launched right in time for the Sephora VIB sale. I picked up two vibrant shades, Drama Cla$$ and Fuego Flush. They look vivid in the pan but they sheer out to leave just a wash of colour. They have a thin gel-cream consistency and are easy to apply. I used a stippling brush and my fingers for a more concentrated application. You can also use a beauty blender. It applied evenly over foundation and bare skin. The formula is very forgiving; you never have to worry about overdoing it. So if you’re not into pigmented blushes, this product is perfect. These are great for “no makeup” makeup days and quarantine video calls. You can even wear them on your eye and lips. With the warmer temperatures approaching, I’ve been looking for more cream blushes. These blushes deliver what they promise and that’s a sheer blush that gives a natural flush of colour.

Drama Cla$$ is a soft violet with cool undertones and a satin finish. It looks like a pink lavender which is the shade I was hoping for but I wish it had a little more pigmentation on my tan skin. As the formula melts into the skin, the colour fades when blended with just one application. It layers well over itself without looking thick or heavy. It took some building to show up in pics below and that was with a base. This shade also dries down quickly, not sure if that was due to the matte foundation I was wearing underneath.

Fuego Flush that is a soft tangerine with shimmer. It has yellow undertones and fine gold pearls. The shimmer is very subtle and makes my skin look luminous. I love the tangerine tint it provides while still looking natural. It blends really nicely into bare skin and doesn’t emphasize texture. Orange tones wear well on my skin tone and I’m so happy to add this shade to my collection.
