Patrick Ta Double-Take Crème & Powder Blush - Do We Know Her?

Patrick Ta’s new Major Beauty Headlines - Double-Take Crème & Powder Blush features two blush formulas. It includes a cream and powder blush in complementary shades. The powder has a pigmented, weightless formula and the cream formula is hydrating and dewy. When combined they are said to give a bold, dimensional finish. The compact retails for $45 CAD and $34 USD at Sephora.

The blushes are housed in a pretty rose-tone compact and includes a mirror on the inside. The cream blush has a protective lid over it. Cream products can get so dirty so I appreciate this feature. There are four available shades and I picked up Do we Know Her? It is a peachy coral blush. In the pan, the cream blush looks like a true coral and the powder looks like a lighter peach tone. The cream was designed to be worn over the powder blush which is how I wore it in the below picture. I usually apply my creams first so this was quite different. The powder blush is very pretty leaving an airbrushed finish. It’s pigmented and blends very nicely into the skin. When layered underneath the cream blush, the two combined provide a great punch of colour. It’s such a beautiful combo. I find the cream dries quickly with this application and my cheeks don’t look overly dewy. The cream blush however on its own, gives a sheer wash of colour but can be built up. I find it fades pretty quickly when worn alone. It doesn’t look as dewy as the Fenty Cheeks Out Cream blushes but it still gives a nice natural flush to the cheeks. You can easily transform your look from day to night. You can use the blush on your eyes and lips as well to achieve a monochromatic look. I highly recommend wearing the two shades together for a maximum colour payoff.
