Hi Beauties!
Rare Beauty has released the Melting Cream blush as part of their Stay Vulnerable Collection. It was inspired by the soft, flushed look when we feel the most vulnerable. It is a mistake-proof, liquid-like cream formula that melts into the skin for a natural wash of soft-focus colour. The formula is water-resistant and combines non-greasy oils and powders that provide a satin finish. There are five blush shades in this range and retails for $27 CAD and $21 USD at Sephora.
The light pink rounded packaging is very cute but not ideal for storing. It’s small but kind of bulky. My product came detached from the pan so I had to carefully place it back in the pan but there is no way to secure it back in. With that said, mine isn’t travel-friendly. I purchased shade Nearly Apricot which is a muted coral. It provides semi-sheer coverage. The texture is thin and buttery that melts into the skin. It didn’t give a dewy finish once it applied. It dried to more of a powder finish than a satin. I used a stippling brush and a sponge to apply it with. It also works well with your fingertips. It is a low pigment blush so I needed a couple of layers to build up the colour. If you’re looking for a more pigmented blush, I recommended her liquid blush in the dewy formula.
Have you tried the Stay Vulnerable Melting Blushes?
Samantha
