Dr. Martens Black 1490 Smooth Bex Boots -Review

To celebrate 60 years of Dr. Martens, the brand has taken their original boot and rebuilt with Goodyear welted Bex sole. The 1490 Smooth Bex is the archetypal Docs boot with the signature yellow stitching at welt. The boots are made from tough smooth leather that can be polished to shine or scuffed up. It fits mid-calf and has a round toe. It has a logo webbing pull-loop in black and yellow at the heel collar. The sole features Dr.Martens signature air cushion rubber in tan. They are comfortable to wear and fit true to size. They can be styled with sweats, jeans or can be dressed up with a dress or skirt. Naturally, I wore mine with sweats since that’s all I’ve been wearing as of late. I can’t wait to be able to go out again and style them with more outfits. Outfit details are linked below.
