Becca Prismatic Amethyst Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed - Review, Photos and Swatches

Becca has released another gorgeous Limited Edition Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter in the shade Prismatic Amethyst. It is currently available at Sephora for VIB/VIB Rouge members and retails for $46 CND and $38 USD. It will be available to all on February 22rd, 2017 at Sephora.com and Beccacosmetics.com and in stores in March.

Prismatic Amethyst contains duo chrome pigments that reflect light as you move for a "holographic chameleon effect"; and comes in complementing packaging. The collector in me didn't even want to touch the stunning embossment in the powder. The shade is more lavender than amethyst with pale gold, violet, and rose pearls. Don't let the purple shade scare you as it leaves a subtle radiant glow to the cheeks. It has a semi-opaque finish that sheers out when applied. It appears very light on my complexion, definitely not my typical metallic highlighter but it would work on days I want to achieve a subtle glow. It would be more apparent once layered over blushes. The formula is very soft, blendable and great for layering.

This single product has multiple uses. See below (via Sephora.com):

1. Sweep across the high points of the face or apply to targeted areas, including cheekbones, over or under brow bones, and on the Cupid's bow.
2. Top off your favourite gloss for a prismatic finish.
3. Use over your favourite shadow for a multi-dimensional look.
4. Use wet as a liquid liner (add water to liner brush and sweep across powder).

So many makeup brands are creating their own holographic highlighters and I honestly love them! I never thought I would be into purple highlighters but if you have been following me for awhile you know that I'm obsessed with the shade Sassy Grape from the Anastasia Beverly Hills Sweets Glow Kit.
