MAC X Beauty Guru - Samantha Ravndahl Lipstick for Spring/Summer 2017: Photos, Review and Swatches

Mac Cosmetics has collaborated with 10 beauty influencers to create their own shades of lipstick. Today I will be talking about the collab with Samantha Ravndahl. Samantha is a beauty YouTuber that I've been following for years. She is outspoken and I love her wit. Not to mention she is a Canadian like myself and shares the same name as me. I actually met her a couple years ago and she was really down to earth. The lipstick launched on April 22nd and will only be available in Canada through July 2017 for $21.

I'm going to be totally biased and say I love this lipstick due to the mere fact that it has my name on it. All jokes aside, the lipstick is described as light shell pink with a cremesheen finish. It is light pink with warm undertones. I do enjoy Mac's cremesheen lipsticks over their matte finishes. The formula is lightweight, creamy and leaves a natural sheen. Similar to other cremesheen lipsticks, this one is semi-opaque with buildable coverage. This shade does not wear well on it's own on me but looks so pretty when swatched. I need a different base to not make it look so pale on. I seen Samantha swatch this lipstick on her snapchat with different lip liners and the possibilities were endless. I have been wearing it over nude and pink liners/lipsticks to get the most out of it.
