Colourpop Phase Me Out Quad, Hippo Highlighter, Cuddle Buddy and Eye Candy Super Shock Shadow - Photos, Review and Swatches
Hi Beauties!
Every once in awhile Colourpop offers free international shipping which I love to take advantage of. Today I will be sharing my recent haul from them. I love Colourpop's eye and cheek products so I had to purchase a few more items from their Spring collection. Keep reading to see what I hauled and swatches of course. You can also scroll down to the bottom to watch my YT vid instead.
Phase Me Out ($18 USD)
Colourpop has combined their best selling Super Shock Shadows from their Spring collection into one bundle. The bundle also includes an exclusive new shade, Itty Bitty, that can't be purchased separately. If you haven't tried the Super Shock shadows, what are you waiting for? The formula has a nice bouncy texture that is super creamy and pigmented. Not only is the formula amazing but it comes at an affordable price point selling for $5 a pop. Of course with the bundle, you're saving a couple of dollars. I was really drawn to this quad because I love the orange and coral shades. They are so spring appropriate. It is a limited edition set that is still currently available as of today. It comes in a cute sleeve with emoji's printed on it. The set includes shadows in pearlized, satin and metallic finishes. My favourite two are Itty Bitty and Flipper. The shade One by One is very light so I prefer to use it as a base for Flipper. I don't care too much for Going Rogue as it looks like a cream shade on me so I use it for a brow bone highlight.
Going Rogue: pearlized soft silvery peach
Itty Bitty: satin soft salmon pink
Flipper: Soft tangerine with a ton of silver glitter on top in a Metallic finish
One by One: pearlized true pastel peach
I've been loving the purple iridescent unicorn glow look lately so I also picked up of few other items in the lavender colour range. I purchased two other Super Shock Shadows in Cuddle Buddy which is a really pretty lilac shade and Eye Candy which is a cool-toned lavender. Since I love purple highlighters I got shade Hippo to wear as a base for when I wear duo-chromatic highlighters. Both Eye Candy and Hippo appear frosty and look similar when swatched side by side. These two shades would look better on fair skin complexions. I also received a free brush with purchase.
Cuddle Buddy ($5 USD) - true pink dusted with silver Ultra-Glitter
Eye Candy ($5 USD) - An icy lavender drizzled with tons of silver Ultra-Glitter
Hippo ($8 USD) - soft cool-toned icy lavender
That's it for my Colourpop haul, overall I'm happy about my picks. I don't think the quad is a must have unless you really want the exclusive shade Itty Bitty, it's a nice salmon colour. The others can be purchased separately. I don't own anything like the purple shades that I picked so I'm pleased to add them to my collection. However, Eye Candy and Hippo would be better suited for cool-toned lovers. You can shop these items at colourpop.com
What's your favourite Colourpop product?
