Urban Decay Born to Run Collection - Eyeshadow Palette, Vice Lipsticks and 24/7 Eye Pencils

Born To Run Eyeshadow Palette - $59 CAD

The all in one palette features 21 shades to create every possible eye look. It's a larger palette in width but is sleek and sturdy for travel. A sizeable mirror is included on the inside which is always a plus. Sixteen of the shades are brand new and five are from previous collections. The colour story is just beautiful with jewel tones, warm neutrals and pops of colour. I love the versatilely of this palette; you can create bright to sultry or neutral to smoky looks. Whether you enjoy warm or cool tones, Born to Run has your back. The colour combos are endless with blues, greens, purples, peach, bronzy to burnt orange shades, all of which are universally flattering. There is a good mix of shimmers and mattes as well as some pretty crease shades. The shadows are pigmented, soft and blended with no powdery kickback. The shadows lasted over eight hours before fading.

Born to Run Vice Lipsticks - $22

The three Vice Lipsticks in this collection are brand new limited edition shades that complement the Born To Run Eyeshadow Palette perfectly. Two of the lipsticks have a metallic finish and the other with a matte finish. The shade Ready? is a bright rose sparkle. I personally don't like how it looks on its own. The glitter looks a little chunky on my lips; however, it did glide on smoothly and has medium coverage. It does look nice over shade 66, it adds a nice dimension. Shade 66 is a rich mauve nude and is my favourite shade of the three. Lastly, Marfa is a dark berry shade. Vice Lipsticks have an amazing formula and are so comfortable to wear.

Overall, I think the star of the collection is the eyeshadow palette. Whether you're travelling abroad or staying local this summer, this palette will have you covered. You can pack light and have everything you need with this one palette. The shadows are high quality and easy to use. The palette can also be used all year round and another bonus is that it is a permanent palette.
