My Juice Beauty Favourites

Today's post will be all about skincare which I don't talk much about. Now that I've found a good regimen, I had to share one of my favourite brands at the moment. So many brands are leaning towards using natural ingredients and Juice Beauty creates organic and natural formulas that perform as well as conventional beauty products. I've had the pleasure of meeting the founder Karen Behnke and learned so much about the brand from her. They use an antioxidant and vitamin-rich organic botanical juice base, rather than petroleum derivatives or added water, and combine it with powerful skincare ingredients. Today I will be sharing my favourite products from the brand.

Stem Cellular Anti-Wrinkle Moisturizer - $88

This moisturizer is for all skin types and is beneficial for those with signs of aging. It combines a blend of fruit stem cells and Vitamin C infused into organic resveratrol-rich grape which can improve the appearance of skin tone and luminosity. It also contains jojoba and shea which makes the cream rich and very hydrating. The dispenser is airtight, this helps with keeping the ingredients potent. There is a pump to dispense the product, which I honestly didn't realize for awhile. I use it morning and night and it really helps to keep the moisture in. I usually use oils before my moisturizer. It absorbs well and I don't have to wait long to apply my makeup. It has a refreshing lemon scent which may be too strong for some but it doesn't bother me. I don't have wrinkles so I can't speak to the anti-aging properties. After using it for a few months, I can stay that it has brightened my complexion.

Stem Cellular Exfoliating Peel Spray - $64

This is a spray that is formated with gentle plant-derived exfoliant to reduce fine lines, wrinkles, dullness and uneven texture. It contains fruit stem cells infused into an organic resveratrol-rich grapeseed base to replenish, restore and renew skin. It also contains cucumber extract and organic aloe to soothe, ascorbic acid and licorice root extract to brighten, and vitamin C to improve luminosity. Once you spray and rub the product in, you can literally see the dead skin cells rubbing off. The product is thin and clear and is more gentle than a chemical peel. I probably wouldn't suggest it if you have sensitive skin. My husband and daughter have tried it and had some irritation afterwards. I didn't notice any redness or sensitivity on my skin. It does have a strong smell upon application. I like that it doesn't make my skin feel dry like some exfoliants. It leaves my skin looking smooth and clear.

Green Apple Peel Full Strength - $60

This is a peel that contains potent alpha (malic acid from organic green apples, glycolic and lactic acids) and beta hydroxy acid (salicylic acid from willow bark) that is said to deliver spa-grade exfoliation. It is designed for all skin types except for sensitive skin to help with dark spots, discolouration and uneven skin tone and texture. The vitamins A & C help with the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It also contains vitamin E & organic aloe to nourish and hydrate the skin. It has a really strong smell in the jar almost like spoiled apples. It tingles a tad bit and it left my skin red which is expected but it went away in an hour. As I'm not use to using acids, one side of my face was irritated but it went away fairly quick. I highly recommend using this mask at night. It definitely cleared up my skin and faded some of my spots. I had a pimple on my forehead and it was practically gone by the next morning.

So far I'm really impressed with the products I've tried thus far. I just tried the Stem Cellular Eye Treatment and Booster Serum but I need to test it out for a little longer. I also have a few other products in my stash to try like the Signal Peptides Firming Serum and the Stem Cellular Cleansing oil.
