Nars Orgasm Liquid Highlighter - Review & Swatches

The Nars Orgasm blush has been an iconic shade for most in the beauty industry. The beautiful pink peachy shade has been around for 20 years! To celebrate the 20th anniversary, the brand has release an entire Orgasm Collection. I already own the shade Orgasm in the powder and liquid blush so I had to get it in a highlighter form. The Orgasm Liquid Highlighter is a light weight dew drop with skin-perfecting ingredients like pomegranate extract; which is known for its antioxidant and long-lasting hydration properties. The highlighter retails for $38 CAD and $30 USD.

The bottle is covered in a limited edition rose gold packaging. The shade also looks like a rose gold shade with fine gold pearls. It’s a very pretty soft pink shade that gives a natural glow. It comes with a dropper to dispense the product. The formula is very thin and fluid which makes it easy to mix into foundations and moisturizers. A full pump is not needed to highlight my face. I just use whatever product that is on the dropper and that’s usually enough. I didn’t have any issues with spillage when used this way as oppose to dispensing a full pump. If there is too much product, you can also apply the rest to the chest and collarbones. When applied all over the face and body, the glow is very subtle. When applied all over the the face and body it doesn’t add much colour mostly sparkle that enhancing the look of your skin. I prefer to apply it directly to the high points of my face like the cheekbones and blending it in with a beauty sponge. The colour shows up more on me when I focus it on one area. I use it as a base for my powder highlighters and it makes my skin look dewy. It also increases the longevity of my highlighter. Overall, I love the beautiful dewy finish and it makes my skin look amazing.
