Fenty Sun Stalk'r Instant Warmth Bronzer - Bajan Gyal: Reveiw, Photos & Swatches
Hi Beauties!
Just after Fenty’s launch of the Body Lava, the brand has released another product to keep us glowing. The Sun Stalk’r Instant Warmth Bronzer is a long-wear, transfer resistant bronzing powder that is meant to give you that post-vacay bronze all year-round. This bronzer has been in the making for two years so the brand could “develop the perfect bronzer that brings out the right pigments for natural warmth and glow on all skin tones from the fairest to the deepest." Fenty is continuing its commitment to being inclusive by catering to those with neutral and warm undertones. There are eight available shades that can be used for warming up the skin or contouring. All the shade names are island inspired (love that) – In Da Sun, Private Island, Shady Biz, I$land Ting, Bajan Gyal, Caramel Cutie, Coco Naughty, and Mocha Mami. They retail for $38 CAD and $30 USD at Sephora and Fenty.com.
I was debating between shades Caramel Cutie and Bajan Gyal. I decided to go with Bajan Gyal because it was more warm toned for bronzing and Caramel Cutie has cool undertones which would have been good for contouring. Bajan Gyal is described as tan with warm undertones. In the pan it looks like it has strong orange undertones but it was less intense when applied. The powder is finely milled and just melts into the skin. It gives a natural soft matte finish. Sun Stalk’r is light and creamy and doesn’t look chalky. It almost sheers out but the formula is buildable. I find a dense brush works best to apply it and it last all day. The formula contains mango and papaya fruit to help give that natural healthy glow look. I’m really enjoying the subtle warmth it has been adding to my cheeks but I think once my tan fades from my recent vacation, it will chisel my cheeks much better.
I would definitely go swatch these shades in store because they look different in the pan. Also, just to get a feel for the undertones depending on whether you’re looking for a powder to add warmth or contour with. I have to admit, I don’t wear bronzer as much as I use to but since I got Sun Stalk’r, I’ve added it back into my routine. I’m obsessed with the finish; my skin looks so smooth like second skin.
Have you tried the new Fenty SUN STALK'R bronzers?
Samantha
