Discovering the Natural Wonders of South Iceland - Two day Itinerary
Skogafoss

We covered these locations in two days with our rental car which I highly recommend to explore the South.
Day 1
Skogafoss: A Mighty Cascade
Our adventure begins with Skogafoss, one of Iceland's most iconic waterfalls. Thundering down from a height of 60 meters, Skogafoss is a mesmerizing sight and a photographer's dream. The mist created by the waterfall often forms rainbows on sunny days, adding to the enchantment of this natural wonder. Adventurous souls can climb the staircase alongside the falls for a panoramic view of the surrounding landscape.
Kvernufoss: A Hidden Gem
Venture off the beaten path, and you'll discover Kvernufoss, a hidden gem tucked away in a secluded canyon. Unlike its more famous counterparts, Kvernufoss offers a more intimate and serene experience. The 30-meter high cascade is surrounded by lush greenery, making it a picturesque and tranquil escape.
Seljalandsfoss
Seljalandsfoss: Behind the Veil
Seljalandsfoss is a waterfall like no other. What sets it apart is the unique opportunity to walk behind the cascading water curtain, providing a truly immersive experience. Day 2
Black Sand Beach: Reynisfjara's Dramatic Shoreline

Adjacent to Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon, Diamond Beach is a surreal landscape where icebergs from the lagoon wash ashore, glistening like diamonds in the sunlight.
